About Dr. Wright

Talofa lava & Aloha!
Growing up in Samoa and New Zealand, and later living in the Philippines, several U.S. states, and now Hawai‘i, has given Dr. Wright the opportunity to learn from many cultures and communities. This influenced him to adopt a multi-cultural, evidence based approach in both his training and practice as a psychologist. He values each person’s unique story and understands how culture and background influence the way people see themselves and relate to others.

As mental health becomes more accepted in our society, misinformation is also spreading, and many people feel unsure about what’s true or where to turn for help. Dr. Wright offers accurate, culturally grounded guidance to help reduce stigma and make mental health easier to understand. His approach focuses on education, support, and empowering individuals and communities he works with.
